Learning Outcomes
On completion of the course, the student will be able to:
Demonstrate a critical understanding and knowledge of the impact and contribution of sport and exercise to the mental health of the individual athlete/client
Critically evaluate strategies and techniques used to maintain positive health and wellness for the individual athlete or client
Demonstrate an awareness of the effectiveness of interventions for the enhancement of physical and mental health within the wider community
Design an evidence-based health and wellness intervention for individuals participating within a sport and exercise environment
